Rossiglione è il Comune più grande, per estensione di territorio, della Valle Stura e si divide in due borgate attraversate dal torrente omonimo, ROSSIGLIONE SUPERIORE e INFERIORE. La formazione del-la borgata Superiore risale alla metà del secolo XIV e conserva integre le valenze storico-ambientali, con le caratteri-stiche case alte, allineate in strette vie. A Rossiglione Inferiore è ancora riconoscibile il nucleo antico, sorto nel XII secolo. Il PONTE VECCHIO costruito in pietra nel 1599 ne è un elemento di spicco e fino al 1856 ha rappresentato l’unico attraversamento del Gargassa. La VAL GARGASSA (inclusa nei 23 percorsi liguri proposti dal WWF) è una tra le zone più selvagge e attraenti dell’Appennino genovese. Rossiglione is, by extension of territory, the largest municipality of Valle Stura and it is divided into two villages crossed by the river of the same name, ROSSIGLIONE SUPERIORE and INFERIORE. The formation of the township’s building dates back to the mid-fourteenth century and maintains the significant historical and environmental characteristics with tall houses, lined up in narrow streets. In Rossiglione Inferiore the old center, built in the twelfth century, is still recognizable. THE OLD BRIDGE built in stone in 1599 is an outstanding and until 1856 was the only crossing of Gargassa. VAL GARGASSA (included in the 23 Ligurian routes proposed by the WWF) is one of the wildest and most attractive areas of the Apennines from Genoa.
