Mele, sospeso tra cielo e mare, dai monti alle spiagge. Un territorio aspro ma dolcemente affascinante, dove la natura è bella e rigogliosa, le acque dei fiumi abbondanti, copiosa la presenza fauni-stica. Nel tempo l’attività dell’uomo l’ha impreziosito di manufatti e coltivazioni. Non è un caso che l’impresa dello stem-ma comunale, “Ex Melle mihi nomen” - dal miele il mio nome, descriva antiche identità. L’ORATORIO DI SANT’ANTONIO ABATE, decorato con splendidi stucchi e preziose opere d’arte, fra il 1750 e il 1792, è famoso per la cassa processionale capolavoro di A.M.Maragliano del 1703. All’interno ciclo pittorico di C.G Ratti e pala d’altare di G.A.Ansaldo. Da marzo 2010 riaprono le TERME DI ACQUASANTA: benessere naturale con le proprietà terapeutiche delle acque sorgive.

Time by time, human activity has made precious artefacts and crops. It is not a coincidence that the phrase of the municipal coat of arms, “Ex Melle mihi nomen” - from the honey my name, describes the ancient identities. SANT’ANTONIO ABATE’S ORATORY, decorated with beautiful plasters and precious art manufactures, between 1750 and 1792, is famous for the Processional chest A.M. Maragliano’s masterpiece of 1703. Inside the Oratory there is the pictorial cycle of C.G. Rats and the altarpiece of G.A. Ansaldo. A new journey chance will be available in March 2010: Wellness with the therapeutic properties of natural spring water in the small town Acquasanta.
